hey ya all

finally after such a long wait im goint to do what i always wanted to.... shoot big guns & kick asses on 25.10.2010 im going to Gdynia to the coastal defece balation for a baisic traning, and then later ill be a turret operator/gunner in a BMP ofc this still is not a regular army its called NSR (Narodowe Siły Rezerwowe) - something like the american National Guard, but not exactly the same, but there is a small chance that after that i can apply for a profetional soldier thanks to the traning i will recive... the who thing will take 4 months so dont kick me out of the guild but i guess ill miss the cata release ow well.

in Poland that rule is down since 2008, only profesional soldiers work in the army, + national guard (or something close to it)

and answering a potential furter question .. yeah i want to be a full proffesional one ... youw know like Cpt. Price from modern warfare series xP

We have to go there, it's not our own choice. And the minimum time is 6 months, but I'll probably end with 1 year or 9 months if I'm lucky (Which also isn't our choice)

hmm, apparently its not like this here, i get passes home every weekend to get me some beer and see my girlfriend, now the army (wich is only for those who want to be profesional) looks more like school, you study all day + PT, like 7km runs or melee combat with weapons, chmical, bio, rad hazard protection, shooting (my traning weapon is polish modernized version of an AK 47 wich is called "kbk AKMS 7.62" ), entreanching, masking etc.

and its not a thing like a "dumbass" capitan says you so, no you dont need to do it at all, but they watch you and they write your mark and opinion and you can get kicked out faster then you came here, as for the cleaning, well you dont have to clean at all, you can be filthy if youy like, but then agian a soldier needs to be representative, and if you dont clean that will be inclyuded in you opinion. i dont know how dose it look in other countries, but here things have changed much since the army is full profesional. oh and we study from 8.00 - 14.30 the rest is free time for resting + sometimes if we are back with material we study "after class" but also only for an hour or 2, a normal day looks like this

6.00 get up - 6.10 morning PT , 6.35 - morning bathroom etc. 7.10 -breakfast 8.00 - 14.30 classes/PT/subjects in the field 15.00 meal time agian and so on 22.00 - sleep time all light go out.

and the staff that from the squad leaders, platoon leader, to the company comander, are very polite, well educated (at lead the capitan is ), ofc somtimes when we do some stupid jokes the platoon leaders can go hard on us, but they dont punish us they just give us aditional PT .
